Our North Leeds office is situated in WEST PARK which is a much sought after, established residential location to the north-west of Leeds (approximately five miles) and is in a very convenient position for comfortable daily commuting, by car, to the commercial centres of Leeds and Bradford and also the former spa towns of Harrogate and Ilkley.
There are regular public transport facilities to Leeds city centre, via Headingley and the university, on Otley Road (bus shelter less than two minute's walk) and shopping parades on Spen Lane (about five minute's drive by car) including a Coop, fish and chip shop and a chemist plus a post office on Butcher Hill. More extensive shopping facilities can be found at Headingley, Horsforth, Moortown and Meanwood with a choice of supermarkets including Morrisons, Sainsbury's and Waitrose and all of which are within approximately 10 minute's drive.
The famous Golden Acre Park is approximately three miles away and barely 10 minute's drive by car (also on a bus route) as is delightful open countryside. Leeds Bradford Airport is approximately 15 minute's drive. The Village Hotel and Leisure Club is less than five minute's walk and West Park Parades include hair and beauty salons, a popular restaurant, a choice of cafe bars with precinct tables and chairs, as well as a useful launderette.
THE "VIBRANT" AREA OF HEADINGLEY is a very short bus ride or approximately 20 minute's walk and has an excellent choice of shopping facilities, a mix of trendy bars and traditional flagged floor pubs, an interesting variety of restaurants and eating places and other leisure facilities including Cottage Road Cinema and both the Headingley cricket and rugby grounds.
West Park Playing Fields are about 10 minute's walk and are adjacent to woodland walks and rambles.
